At least that's what some users seem to have been experiencing lately, prompting support news on Roland Japan website that has been translated in this Gearslutz thread!
I have owned the Roland JV-1080 and JV-1010 before, but fortunately never had this problem...
If you still have some synths with these boards, better try to get it fixed!
