Balance Mastering just made available their first plugin, and you can download it for free!
It is a reverb plugin based which makes use of their most popular impulse response (IR) set, taken from the former NSA compound, Teufelsberg, in Berlin.
If you haven't downloaded this IR set yet, be sure to check it here:
http://www.balancemastering.com/blog/free-teufelsberg-nsa-listening-tower-impulse-responses-ir-irs-convolution/
It features 6 different IRs, with different sample rates (44.1, 48, 88.2 and original 96KHz) and bit depths (16 and 24 bits) available.
Their new reverb plugin makes use of those IRs to give you 6 different types of reverbs, and can be downloaded for free in the following link:

As you can see in the previous link, there are versions available for Windows, Mac and Linux, and to make things even better, it is open source!
I can't really give a deep comment on the sound of this plugin as I haven't tested it yet (but it gives me extra motivation to really start learning how to use my Symbolic Sounds Kyma Capybara 320), and the music in their demo is completely different to what I do...
But it seems to have an interesting sound, and looking at the photos of the location where they collected those IRs, I bet it would be fantastic for the more ambient music I do, so I'm definitely interested in giving it a try!
From a synth lover to synth lovers. In this blog I'll try to share my personal experiences with my synths and other electronic music equipment, from personal opinions about some of the equipment I have to more technical posts, as well as some performances in the middle. If you love synths as well, make sure to tune in!
