Yep, I know I haven't published for a while, which definitely saddens me as I was full of ideas since the last post I published...
As you remembered, I wanted to try to recreate my electro-music.com performance and publish a new video in the Youtube channel, as well as finish the posts regarding my previous performances.
And everything was going great despite my silence!
The plan was changing a bit as I was supposed to receive a Rhodes MkII 73, the same model I have back in the studio and that I used in previous performances!
Despite the price was great, the person seemed really trustworthy and saying that he only had a word and that it was mine.
All that was left was to see when he could deliver it to me (the guy was around 30 minutes away) or when could I pass by (unfortunately I don't have a car...), but the latest, during the weekend, we should get the deal done.
So, I was preparing my space to fit this new addition, which I felt would be a game changer here, since it would allow me to have a proper working space, as I could put most of the equipment I have here on top of it (well... except my "toyish" keyboards... but I could always take those out from storage when needed).
I was really thrilled, and was already planning on what effects processors I should build on my Clavia Nord Modular G2 Engine to process the Rhodes and come up with really nice videos of the combo!
However, it seems it was not meant to be, and when the weekend came I contacted the guy again to check what was the better day for him to pass by and didn't get any answer, despite I am 100% sure he checked my messages...
I would have really liked the Rhodes, and honestly feel it would have had a big impact in this blog.
But what really annoys me is the lack of integrity some people demonstrate when they pretend to have high moral stands, despite they are completely rotten inside, like this guy seems appears to be...
With all this, I was pretty confident I had reached my low for Easter and past that, I could just work on the blog and get the videos I had planned before done!
Unfortunately, things could have gotten worse, and so they did...
During Easter night (a bit over a 1 month ago now), my little cat Tux fell from the 6th floor...
Fortunately, he made it and he is already back home with us, improving quickly!
But as you probably guess, it has required quite some effort and time, with quite some trips to the veterinarian hospital in the next city being required...
Therefore, my mood hasn't been the best, and what seemed like was going to be an amazing week soon degenerated into what has been close to a real nightmare...
Due to this, I have been postponing my blog plans and I am not sure when will I be able to get my activity back to normal.
Despite Tux is much better, he still needs care and supervision.
And of course, there are also some more vet trips that we will need to take...
Still, I am counting on getting back to this blog sooner or later, as I have plenty of nice synth ideas that I just didn't do anything about during these past times, and trust me, they really need to come out one way or another! ;)
So, be sure to follow this blog, as before the end of the month, it should be running at full speed again! ;)
From a synth lover to synth lovers. In this blog I'll try to share my personal experiences with my synths and other electronic music equipment, from personal opinions about some of the equipment I have to more technical posts, as well as some performances in the middle. If you love synths as well, make sure to tune in!
